Proof

A dignity-preserving verification layer. This section provides outside verifiers — agents, institutions, or humans — with a public surface to confirm the human anchor of arifOS. The vault at /999 holds sealed attestations. This section provides the public derivative.

Three surfaces, one human anchor

Layer 1

Human

Proof of human identity and continuity. Links Arif Fazil as a real person to this site and to the arifOS project. Domain control + identity claims.

Layer 2

Authorship

Proof that Arif Fazil authored the arifOS architectural documents, this site, and related public materials. Cryptographic signing in progress.

Layer 3

Runtime

Proof that the arifOS runtime exists, is operational, and is governed by the constitutional kernel. Agent-facing verification.

Verification stack

This section is being built to align with modern identity and verification standards.

did:web

Domain-based identity

DID document published at /.well-known/did.json. Anchors Arif Fazil's digital identity to domain control. TLS/DNS-secured.

NIST SP 800-63-4

Identity proofing benchmark

Follows NIST guidelines for identity proofing, authentication, and federation. Not a government ID service — but the same rigour applies to how claims are evaluated.

In progress

W3C Verifiable Credentials 2.0

Machine-verifiable claims with cryptographic proof. Issuer / holder / verifier roles clearly defined. Graduated disclosure model.

In progress

Sigstore / Cosign

Signing public artifacts — release bundles, architectural documents, site hashes — with transparency log. Binds signatures to identity and records them publicly.
